On the afternoon of March 17, Ms. Truong Thi Minh Tin - Chairman of Binh Tri Dong B Ward continued to work with the interdisciplinary team to restore order on the Inner Ring Road (Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City). This is an area that had been mobilized to remove signs and sidewalk obstructions...
However, the road with a 6 meter wide sidewalk, painted with 2 meter lines for people to park their vehicles, is still encroached upon. In front of an abandoned house with an iron frame and a sturdy roof, Ms. Tin asked the force to cut off the roof and demolish it immediately.
The owners of a coffee shop and a beer house put tables and chairs on the sidewalk and saw the working group quickly explained that it was "an accident" and asked to let it go, but were not accepted. Ms. Tin requested to make a record of the violations of these two establishments and confiscate some items.
The couple selling on the sidewalk hurriedly packed up their goods when the ward police arrived. Seeing the husband with a broken leg sitting on a chair, the wife hurriedly cleaned up. Mrs. Tin said calmly: "I know you are having a hard time, but doing business like this is wrong. I will arrange a stall for you in the ward's Da Sa market. We won't charge you any fees, so try to comply from tomorrow."

The Chairman of Binh Tri Dong B Ward once declared to the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City, "If we cannot manage the sidewalks, we will let someone else take over."
