The Khashoggi case is expected to be cleared up soon as countries like the US, Europe and Türkiye are determined to find the truth.

The British news agency Reuters, citing US officials, has just reported that the Director of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Ms. Gina Haspel, will travel to Türkiye on October 22 (US time) to investigate the death of Saudi Arabian journalist Jamal Khashoggi inside the country's consulate in Istanbul.

Earlier in the day, US President Donald Trump also revealed that the country's top intelligence officials would travel to Türkiye and Saudi Arabia, but did not provide details. The US President said that he would soon learn specific details about the incident and that he was not satisfied with what he had heard before.

The Khashoggi case is expected to be cleared up soon as countries like the US, Europe and Turkey are determined to find the truth behind the incident, despite the initial "unconvincing" explanations from the Saudi Arabian government. Both Saudi Arabia and Türkiye are still investigating the incident. So far, 18 people have been arrested by Saudi Arabia and 2 intelligence officials of this country have been fired after the incident./.
