Maid Nguyen Thi Thuy "stole" 100 million VND from the owner's safe to buy a motorbike for her child and spend it.

Among the suspects is Nguyen Thi Thuy (born in 1972, residing in Y Yen district, Nam Dinh), a maid for Mrs. Thom's family who has shown many suspicious signs. Although she has a low income and a lot of debt, Thuy has recently had money to buy a motorbike for her child, buy many things, and spend freely on personal expenses.

Summoned to the police station, with the evidence presented, Thuy could not deny and admitted her crime.

The subject stated that since the end of October 2017, she had been employed as a housekeeper for Ms. Thom’s family. Seeing that the homeowner often kept money in a safe without a password but only with a lock, Thuy stole the key to open the safe and “stole” 100 million VND.

Ninh Binh City Police are continuing to investigate and handle the case according to legal regulations.
