- You are a notable face after appearing in a series of Korean newspapers in recent days with titles such as: "Who is the girl following coach Park Hang Seo closely?". Do you think that was completely coincidental?

After working at the press conferences of the Vietnam National Team at the Vietnam Football Federation, Hoai asked to take a photo with Coach Park because of her admiration for the Korean coach. Hoai did not think that many journalists would be interested and post articles about that. When seeing those articles, Hoai was a bit surprised but also very happy because everyone was interested. I would like to thank the reporters for giving Thu Hoai such favor.

- Right from the time before the final and the night of December 15, your image caught the attention of many foreign photographers as one of the rare beautiful sports reporters appearing on the training ground of the Vietnam National Team. Then in the final match, many Korean audiences recognized you and asked to take pictures with you. Do you realize that you are very 'hot'?

- Hanoi is so cold, how can it be 'hot'? Actually, Hoai did not think much when assigned to go to the scene to film the Vietnam National Team. It was both the nature of the job and the excitement of seeing the players practice on the field. Perhaps there were not many female reporters working, so everyone paid special attention to Hoai. Before, Hoai mainly appeared on air in the K+ studio, so appearing on the scene might surprise everyone more.

- Known as an actress with a series of 'hot' movies, but to football fans, Thu Hoai is no stranger. Many people respect her for her knowledge in the field of sports. Why did Hoai choose to be a sports MC, a difficult field that has always been followed by men?

As an actor, Hoai felt that standing in front of the camera was a very interesting job, but there were not always suitable roles for her. Therefore, being a TV MC was also one of Hoai's choices at that time. Becoming a sports MC was also a coincidence because before, Hoai also loved watching football but did not really study this sport. When working in the profession, her love for the round ball became even more evident. Hoai thinks that every profession has its own difficulties and challenges, but as long as you are determined and devoted to the work you love, one day you will reap the rewards.

- As an experienced MC, has Thu Hoai ever encountered an incident while hosting or even been asked by the audience to take her off the air just because they didn't like the way she hosted or because she loved a football team too much and made enemies with anti-fans?

Being a sports MC, most of the time, you have to present live because of its updating nature, so it is normal to make mistakes, stumble or be confused. Hoai always tries to improve every day and tries to do her best with the assigned work, but whether she likes or dislikes it depends on the audience. Maybe because she is a girl, the audience is more generous, but that does not mean Hoai is not strict with herself.

On days when the coaching is not as expected, Hoai loses sleep and has to try harder the next time. As for her favorite team, Hoai likes coach Pep Guardiola because of his elegance, so she also likes Man City at this time. Luckily, Hoai always receives positive comments, even from Man United fans. That is always the motivation for Hoai to try harder.

- Being a sports editor is not just about being on air, sometimes you have to go to the field to work, jostling with strong male reporters. Have you ever faced any disadvantages when working? Or is it because Thu Hoai is so famous and pretty that she is given the time?

When she goes to the field, Hoai only thinks of herself as a reporter working, not an MC or a TV actress. Hoai also does not assume that she is famous so that everyone knows her, so she still does the work she can do herself, such as carrying a tripod or conducting interviews. Hoai does not have much experience working in the field, so she has not encountered any major problems. Hoai is also not afraid to ask her colleagues around her when she does not understand or does not know the working process, because all of those things will help her become more mature in her work.

- Besides the graceful image in movies or the hot photo shoots on your personal page, the audience is impressed with your hosting style, even the behind-the-scenes image of you carrying a bulky camera tripod to work. When working as a Sports reporter, how can you imagine Thu Hoai?

That is a strong and slightly masculine Thu Hoai. Hoai thinks that these are the qualities needed for a sports reporter, needing to be aggressive and decisive. Normally, Hoai often chooses dresses that she designs herself, but when working as a sports reporter, Hoai often chooses jeans and shirts. Dressing like that helps her be more active at work and not too 'girly'.

- Being a sports presenter means you have to understand it and be passionate about it, and many matches often take place at night. How do you overcome that?

Of course, with late matches, I watch them alone, not two. With the Premier League, it usually takes place at a good time for Vietnamese fans, so Hoai doesn't have any difficulty. However, if I stay up to watch the Champions League, it depends on the match because the matches take place so late. Besides having to wake up early to handle other work or to present the news, staying up late is also bad for my skin.

- You used to be a bank employee, then became an actress, a sports MC, then a fashion designer and businesswoman. Why are you so greedy and over-involved?

It is true that Hoai has experienced many different jobs and Hoai finds that every job brings her valuable experience and social relationships. People still say "one job for nine is better than nine jobs" but in Hoai's opinion, if you do not experience and do not stumble, you will not see your full potential or even your passion for different jobs. Each new job gives me challenges and Hoai wants to experience and conquer it. There are jobs that "people choose the job" but there are also times when "the job chooses the person" so you cannot know if you do not try.

- Is it because you're too busy building your career and reputation that Hoai has put off love affairs for the past few years? Don't tell me that a beautiful and famous person like you has no one pursuing you?

Hoai thinks that in life there is always the word “fate”. Everything Hoai has experienced comes from the word “fate”. Hoai does not decide for herself to put aside love affairs or decide when she will get married. Maybe because “fate” has not come yet, then what can she do? Of course, in the past, there were people pursuing her, there were also people who tried to understand her but it did not go anywhere. Love is hard to talk about, it cannot be determined like “goal line” technology in football. So, just wait for “fate” to come.

- As a girl who has been sought after a lot these past few days, Hoai must have received a lot of messages from new fans, right?

Hoai also has a lot of work so she doesn't have much time to pick up the phone and check messages. However, when receiving everyone's attention, Hoai feels very happy and touched. If she has free time, Hoai doesn't hesitate to reply to messages, but Hoai is just a normal girl, not "hunted" as much as everyone thinks.

It is natural that the players receive admiration. Hoai himself also feels very respectful of Coach Park and our players. They are talented, they are determined, they are enthusiastic and devoted to Vietnamese football, so there is no reason why we do not admire them. Hoai also shared with some articles when asked, before Hoai liked Xuan Truong's position, and since the beginning of this year, Quang Hai and Van Hau have also been added. Hoai has also been in contact with Van Hau, on the field he is fierce but in real life he is very good.
