Female karaoke bar employee was arrested and beaten while being the lover of the owner's son.
Discovering that the female employee was living with her son, Tran Thi Kim Loan, 44 years old, the owner of the karaoke bar, mobilized people to beat and lock up the victim to collect debt.

According to the investigation agency, Loan is the owner of a karaoke bar in Cho Moi district, and lent a 21-year-old female employee 40 million VND. During her time working at the bar, the girl and Loan's son (who is married) developed feelings for each other.
In September, Loan’s son went to Long An to work in an industrial park. In early November, the female employee asked Ms. Loan to let her quit her job and go to Long An to live with her lover.
At noon on November 3, Loan, her husband and other employees rented a car to Long An to beat a female employee and posted the video on social media. Afterwards, the group tookvictimgot in the car and locked her up at the karaoke bar. These people asked the girl's family to bring money to pay off the debt before they could let her go home.
The incident was reported to the police by the victim's family.
