According to the police investigation, from 2021 to present, Nguyen Thi Nhat Vy has posted information through social networks Facebook and Zalo to lend money in the form of daily installments. Vy has used the "MACESH" software to manage loan records on Vy's personal phone to manage the list of borrowers, the daily contribution amount of each borrower, the amount contributed and the amount still to be collected from each borrower.
With the above form, Vy and the subjects lent 30 people in Quang Nam and Quang Binh provinces a total amount of more than 1 billion VND, with interest rates from 360%/year to 579.6%/year, from 18 times to 28.98 times higher than the legal interest rate, illegally profiting hundreds of millions of VND.
