'Female monster' used anesthetic incense to steal property at a district market in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - Carrying a smoke-emitting incense stick with anesthetic effects, the "monster" pretended to buy goods and then took advantage of the victim's distraction to steal property. However, the above behavior was discovered by the people and reported to the police.
On March 14, information from the Do Luong District Police (Nghe An) said: Tran Thi Gai (born in 1966), residing in Vu Ninh Commune, Kien Xuong District, Thai Binh Province) - the subject who was surrounded and arrested by traders at the Do Luong District Trade Center Market on suspicion of hypnotizing to steal property, used anesthetic incense to make the victim lose her vigilance in order to steal property.

District market traders surround and arrest a woman suspected of 'hypnotizing' her to swindle more than 10 million VND
(Baonghean.vn) - Mrs. Nh. - a merchant at Do Luong market (Nghe An) was selling goods when a woman came to exchange money. Later, Mrs. Nh. was seen giving a lot of money to the strange woman. Thinking that this person "hypnotized" her to get money, many merchants surrounded and caught this woman.
Previously, as reported by Nghe An Newspaper on March 2, Tran Thi Gai went to a grocery store in the Do Luong District Trade Center to buy fruit for worship. In her hand, this woman held a burning incense stick that was emitting smoke.
After receiving the fruit from the seller, the subject gave a 500,000 VND bill to pay, then took advantage of the victim's distraction to reach into the money bag to steal property. However, the people around promptly discovered and stopped the subject's actions and reported it to the police.

At the police station, Gai confessed that previously, in March 2019, with the same method, she had successfully carried out a theft of 5.5 million VND from a grocery seller also at Do Luong market. Regarding the use of anesthetic incense, Tran Thi Gai stated that she had ordered it online from a stranger.
Currently, the case is still under investigation. The police force recommends that people should be vigilant and report immediately to the authorities when discovering subjects with such tricks for timely handling.
