'Female monster' miraculously escaped the death penalty by putting Tang 'Kengnam' into a 'trap'
On September 21, the People's Court of Bac Ninh City sentenced 9 defendants to death in a drug case led by "boss" Tang Kengnam. The female monster who caused Tang Kengnam to "fall into the trap" of the police and miraculously escaped the death penalty.
From September 15-21, the People's Court of Bac Ninh province brought the case of Trang A Tang (aka Tang Kengnam, born in 1982, from Son La) and his accomplices to trial for the crime of illegal drug trafficking.
With the assessment that Tang Keangnam is an extremely dangerous subject, disregarding the law and therefore must be permanently eliminated from society, the panel sentenced this "boss" to death. 8 other defendants must also receive the same death sentence as Tang Keangnam.
Tang Kengnam's wife, Giang Thi Sua (born in 1984), and Tang Kengnam's father, defendant Trang A Chu (born in 1958), received life sentences.
As for defendant Luong Thi Thao (born 1979, from Bac Giang), the person who led "boss" Tang Kengnam "into the trap" of the police, although the People's Procuracy proposed the death penalty, she only received a life sentence.
The panel of judges believes that Thao has made a great contribution to this case. It can be affirmed that without Thao, it would be impossible to track down the drug ring of Tang Keangnam.
Therefore, the panel of judges found that only indefinite detention for defendant Thao is enough of a deterrent punishment, demonstrating the leniency of the law.

The defendants in court and drug lord Trang A Tang received the death sentence. |
According to the first instance verdict, on July 26, 2013, Trang A Tang, Giang Thi Sua and Trang A Nenh were caught red-handed transporting heroin. Upon inspection, the investigation agency seized 265 heroin cakes and 553 synthetic drug pills.
Trang A Tang confessed that he bought the drugs from a Laotian named Nu. Tang asked Giang A Cho to pick up and transport the drugs to his father's house, Trang A Chu, in Lung Xa village, Long Luong commune, to hide them. Tang paid Nu a total of more than 1.7 million USD.
Because the customer, Luong Thi Thao, was arrested (Tang did not know that Thao was arrested by the investigation agency), Thao informed Tang to temporarily stop transporting drugs, so Tang left the drugs in 2 pineapple sacks in Trang A Chu's bedroom and gave them to Chu to look after.
On July 25, 2013, Tang received a phone call from Luong Thi Thao informing him that the goods were urgently needed. Tang agreed to deliver the goods, but because he was in the hospital, the "boss" ordered Giang A Cho to prepare for reconnaissance.
Tang told Trang A Lau to prepare drugs to pack in the car. Lau and Nenh packed heroin into the car and drove it to Hanoi. Tang and his accomplices went to deliver the goods. When they reached Bac Giang, they were caught red-handed.
According to the indictment, from 2009 to July 26, 2013, Tang Keangnam and his accomplices illegally bought and sold 1,791 heroin cakes and 553 synthetic drug pills 13 times.
