'Female monster' on the run from a border forest was handcuffed while taking a nap
(Baonghean.vn) - After escaping and being wanted, Phong Y Bau hid in the deep forest near the border. Although he was familiar with the mountainous terrain and lived in hiding, Phong Y Bau's whereabouts were discovered and arrested by the authorities.
In mid-September 2019, Ky Son District Police investigated and clarified the case, arresting the subject Phong Y Bau (born in 1971), residing in Truong Son village, Nam Can commune, Ky Son district for the crime of illegal possession of drugs. After that, taking advantage of the authorities' conditions to release him on bail to seek medical treatment, Phong Y Bau escaped.

Ky Son District Police quickly investigated and searched for the whereabouts of the suspect Phong Y Bau, but the whereabouts of this woman remained unknown. Therefore, the Investigation Police Agency of Ky Son District Police issued Wanted Decision No. 07 dated November 2, 2019 for Phong Y Bau (born in 1971), residing in Truong Son village, Nam Can commune, Ky Son district for the crime of Illegal possession of narcotics.
Assessing that the subject Phong Y Bau was hiding in the forest areas in the area and to avoid the case of the subject fleeing to Laos, the leaders of Ky Son District Police deployed forces to surround and arrest him. However, due to the complex mountainous terrain, the pursuit encountered many difficulties.
On the other hand, because the subject was familiar with the mountainous area, he was hiding in many different locations. Therefore, Ky Son District Police coordinated with other forces to persistently verify and monitor the subject's movements; at the same time, to avoid "pulling the strings and stirring up the forest", the functional forces divided into many working groups to move in a closed arc direction, continuously in the deep forest.
After escaping, to avoid being discovered, Phong Y Bau lived in hiding in the deep forest of Nam Can commune. During the day, Bau hid deep in the forest, and at night he crawled out to the huts of the villagers working in the fields to find food and sleep.
At around 1:10 p.m. on July 15, 2020, in the scorching hot weather, in the plantation area of Nam Can commune, while Phong Y Bau was taking a nap, the Ky Son District Police force, Nam Can Commune Police Department in coordination with Nam Can Border Guard Station and Nam Can Customs Sub-Department arrested Phong Y Bau to the surprise of the subject.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Ky Son District Police is completing the dossier to handle the subject according to the provisions of law.
