Laotian female student who was criticized for being too fat is determined to lose weight to compete in Miss Vietnam 2020
Once ridiculed for her overweight body but still dreaming of competing in a beauty pageant, Laotian student Chayxamlet Vatsana has made an effort to lose weight to compete in Miss Vietnam 2020.
Chayxamlet Vatsana (born 2000), of Vietnamese-Lao descent, is currently a student at the University of Commerce, majoring in Law. Although she really likes this field, the 10X said that this is a very difficult field. She has to spend a lot of time memorizing the law and learning about real-life events.

Chayxamlet said her father is Laotian and her mother is Vietnamese. When she was young, she studied in Vietnam and went to Laos for 2-3 months every year to visit her father. When she was in middle school, her parents divorced so she went to live with her mother in Hai Phong. She still goes back to Laos to visit her father and sister from time to time.
10X said that she was influenced by her mother a lot because she lived with her mother since she was little. Witnessing her mother raising two sisters by herself helped her realize that women can do many extraordinary things and do not need to rely on others. Therefore, Chayxamlet always orients herself towards the trend of modern women.

Chayxamlet said that she had dreamed of participating in the Miss Vietnam contest since high school, but at that time she was quite fat, her weight exceeded her height, so many people made fun of her. That's why the 10X girl was determined to go to the gym and follow a healthy diet. With her current figure, she wants to participate in Miss Vietnam because she wants to prove that all women are beautiful and worthy of love.

Chayxamlet shared that she does not have a boyfriend. Having experienced a love affair in her school days, this 10X girl now wants to focus on developing her career. "Later, when I become successful, I also want to love someone who is successful and understanding, who understands me because I think I have tried so hard, so I deserve it" - she shared.
