Knowing the importance of the 10th grade entrance exam, I tried to study and review my lessons carefully before the exam. For each subject, I found my own study method. Although after the exam I looked at the answers in advance to predict my score, achieving a score of 10 in Math made me very happy because my efforts in studying in the past time had paid off.
To achieve this result is the result of Tran Thien Ngan's efforts and struggles throughout 9 years of study. She loves Math but studies all subjects equally. Her average score every year is 9.5 or higher, especially in Math, her final score is always 10 points. From grade 6 to grade 9, Thien Ngan was only the second best student in the district for 1 year, the rest were the valedictorians.

The daughter's academic results are a joy and pride for Thien Ngan's parents. Ms. Dau Thi Ai Huong - Ngan's mother shared: After months of struggling, my daughter has finally reaped the sweet fruit. However, we do not put pressure on our children about studying. My parents always let me study by myself and even though this exam did not have high results, my parents always acknowledge my efforts in studying.
What is admirable about Ngan is her self-study spirit. She only studies at school and does not take extra classes at centers or at teachers' homes. "The important thing is that I find interest and passion for the subject. At school, I pay attention to the teachers' lectures to grasp the knowledge right in class. At home, I spend 3-4 hours studying by myself. I read more books, do more exercises and test questions from previous years to practice problem-solving skills from easy to difficult levels. I do not take extra classes because self-study helps me practice my skills, independence, and discover new knowledge to know my abilities," Ngan said.
In the recent exam, under the dedicated guidance of teachers, Ngan determined for herself a very specific review method: Time herself to do the test, compare the answers to grade herself seriously. She wrote down any problems or mistakes in a small notebook and read them over and over again.
Ngan is very passionate about Math, is intelligent and is willing to study more advanced materials to learn. Her way of studying is to learn basic formulas thoroughly to apply them fluently, solve many different types of problems, and when encountering difficult problems, she proactively contacts the teacher to find many ways to solve the problem. Her recent test score is very worthy of her study efforts.
