High school girl and her mother infected with Covid-19 in Vinh Phuc discharged from hospital
At 2:00 p.m. on February 20, Quang Ha Regional General Clinic (Vinh Phuc) announced the successful treatment of a mother and child patient infected with Covid-19 (nCoV).
With these 2 cured Covid-19 cases, up to now, Quang Ha Regional General Clinic (Binh Xuyen District, Vinh Phuc Province) has successfully treated 4 out of 5 patients being treated here.
Among them, female patient PT T (49 years old), address: Son Loi, Binh Xuyen, Vinh Phuc is the mother of patient NTD (who has been cured). Patient T had contact with her daughter - who was confirmed to be infected with Covid-19 from Wuhan and returned to Vietnam on January 30, 2020.

Ms. T was tested for Covid-19 on February 4, tested positive for Covid-19 on February 6 and was transferred to Quang Ha General Clinic for treatment. Before that, the patient had symptoms of dry cough and stuffy nose. After 14 days of treatment, the patient had no fever and her general condition was stable. The patient was tested again on February 14 and 17 with negative results. Currently, the patient is in stable health, has been fever-free for 14 days and her general condition is stable.
The second female patient discharged from the hospital on the afternoon of February 20 is NTTD (16 years old, address: Son Loi, Binh Xuyen, Vinh Phuc), the younger sister of patient NTD (who has been cured).

NTTD patient was tested for Covid-19 on February 4. On February 6, the patient tested positive for Covid-19 and was transferred to Quang General Clinic for treatment. After 14 days of treatment, the patient had no fever and was in stable condition. The patient was tested again on February 14 and 17 with negative results. Currently, the patient has had no fever for 14 days and is in stable condition.
To date, 14/16 Covid-19 cases in Vietnam have been cured. 23 cases continue to be isolated and closely monitored to prevent spreading to the community./.
