Female student accused of having her thigh slashed by a pervert at night

While riding a motorbike on the road, a 19-year-old female student was approached by three young men, one of whom used a weapon to slash the girl's thigh and arm multiple times.

A female student named Gia Han (19 years old, living in Go Vap district), shared that her body was still in a lot of pain after being slashed many times with sharp objects by a group of young men on the evening of February 10.

The victim said that at around 8:00 p.m. on February 10, she was riding a motorbike carrying things to her friend's house in Binh Thanh District. While driving on Le Quang Dinh Street (Binh Thanh District), three young men on a motorbike followed her.

“After a while, three young men suddenly screamed and approached me. One of them reached out and grabbed my butt, the other held a sharp object like a razor blade and slashed me three times on my right thigh and once on my right hand,” Han recounted.

The 19-year-old female student said that at that time she was very panicked, could not open her mouth to call for help, all she knew was to increase the speed and run. After a while, she saw a crowded dental clinic and pulled over. The group of young people saw many people and ran away. The girl went into a nearby pharmacy and asked the staff to stop the bleeding and disinfect the wound.

“My friend picked me up and took me to the police station where I lived to report, and the police officers guided me to the police station where I had the accident. My friend took me home and then went back and forth, but they said I needed to come. I was in too much pain to walk, so I planned to go to the doctor tomorrow morning and report so that the police could quickly find the group of perverts so that women could go out on the streets with peace of mind,” the girl painfully recounted.

After the incident, the girl was very panicked, partly because the pain from her wound prevented her from sleeping, and partly because she was haunted by the actions of the perverts.

Through that, the female student advised girls not to wear shorts when going out at night. If they do, they should wear sunscreen or have someone with them to avoid becoming prey for the above young men.
