Female student dies on her way to take high school graduation exam.

(Baonghean.vn) - While on her way to complete the graduation exam procedures, female student Tran Thi Hang Nga (a student in class 12A2, Nam Yen Thanh High School) was involved in a traffic accident and died.

On the morning of June 2nd, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Principal of Nam Yen Thanh High School in Yen Thanh District, announced that Tran Thi Hang Nga (a student in class 12A2) died in an accident on the afternoon of June 1st while on her way to complete exam registration procedures at the Phan Thuc Truc High School exam center. After checking her exam registration number and room, on her way home, Hang was involved in a traffic accident and subsequently died at the hospital. The family has reported the incident to the school and the Department of Education and Training. Currently, the Board of Directors of Nam Yen Thanh High School is sending a delegation of teachers to visit and offer condolences to Nga's family.

Also during the first exam session, at the Anh Son I High School examination center, one student was unable to attend school due to serious illness.



Supervisors at the Anh Son 1 High School examination center checked the candidates' exam cards before the official start of the exam.

According to Mr. Nguyen Tran Duc, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Anh Son I High School, a few days before the high school graduation exam, an incident involving a group of students being hit by a car while on their way to a tutoring session affected their exam performance. Currently, the school's management board has processed the application for special exemption from the graduation exam for the injured students who are currently receiving treatment, including Le Thi Loan (born 1995, class 12A4), Nguyen Ngo Anh (born 1995, class 12A4), Nguyen Van Thien (born 1995, class 12A6), and Nguyen Van Hiep (born 1995, class 12D3).

Mr. Nguyen Trong Hoan, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An province, said that the Department is currently holding meetings to consider granting special consideration to exceptional cases throughout the province. If the students meet the conditions stipulated by the Ministry of Education, they will be granted special consideration.

During the first exam session, the weather was quite hot, and the time allotted for the Literature exam was 150 minutes. However, there have been no incidents related to electricity, water, or medical services at the examination sites so far. In this exam, Nghe An province has 41,062 candidates, including 38,617 high school students and 2,445 high school supplementary education students, taking the exam at 60 examination clusters, with 90 examination boards and 1,736 examination rooms throughout the province.
