Female driver carrying 200kg of firecrackers on National Highway 1A

(Baonghean.vn) - The female driver of the car with Thanh Hoa license plate confessed to transporting the above amount of firecrackers for 2 women in Cua Lo and Nghi Loc towns (Nghe An) to get money for the transportation.

On the night of December 7, receiving information from the public, the Mobile Market Management Team (Market Management Department) coordinated with the Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Police to organize an ambush on National Highway 1A and discovered a car with license plate 36L - 8584 with many suspicious signs.

At around 3:00 a.m. on December 8, at Nam Cam intersection (Nghi Long commune, Nghi Loc), when the car was stopping to unload goods, the authorities rushed in to check.discovered a vehicle carrying 170.8 kg of various types of foreign-made fireworks, 100% new.

At the time of inspection, driver Pham Thi Thao (born in 1966, residing in Nghi Quang commune, Nghi Loc district) could not provide invoices or documents proving the legal origin of the above goods.

According to the authorities, Ms. Thao said that the owners of the above goods were Ms. Tran Thi Dang (residing in Block 3, Nghi Tan Ward, Cua Lo Town) and Ms. Mai Thi Ha (residing in Nghi Xuan Commune, Nghi Loc District). Ms. Thao transported the above goods to get the freight.

Currently, the Market Management Department has handed over the subject and evidence to the Criminal Police Department for further investigation, verification and handling according to legal regulations.
