Sharing about her high school exam score, Hong An said: “When I heard that I was the candidate with the highest D3 exam score in the country, I was so happy that I shouted out loud. I didn’t expect my ranking to be this high! Honestly, I only studied about a month before the exam and during the days leading up to the exam, I had a headache so I wasn’t in the best mood when doing the test.” With this score, Hong An will become a new student at the Foreign Trade University, helping her get closer to her dream of becoming a good businessman in the future.
Hong An's achievements in 3 years of high school are also very impressive. In grade 11, Hong An was the valedictorian of the provincial excellent student exam in French and also won the Encouragement Prize in French in the national exam. In grade 12, she continued to win the Second Prize in the national excellent student exam in French, with this result, she was directly admitted to university. Hong An was also a student sent to exchange with the province of Côtes d'Armor (France).

Hong An said that although she had been accepted and granted a scholarship by a university in France, more than a month before the high school graduation exam, she decided to stay home and study at university. Talking about her choice, Hong An shared: “I considered a lot before making this decision. Partly, I wanted to experience student life in Vietnam, and partly, I wanted to be more mature and grown up before studying abroad.” When making this decision, her parents were a bit worried because there was only a short time left before the national high school graduation exam, but they still supported her decision.

Although there is only 1 month left to review for the exam, she does not put too much pressure on herself. According to An, she does not study continuously but only studies during the hours when she can concentrate most effectively and has enough rest. During the 1 "sprint" month, Hong An focuses on studying Math and Literature, and a few days before the exam, An reviews French. Reviewing lessons in class, downloading documents online, studying from reference books... and being extremely focused while studying are An's secrets to effective review.
Hong An's success is a great encouragement to her family. An confided that due to work, her father has to work far away and can only come home on weekends, and all the housework is done by her mother. With this result, she wants her parents to be proud of the eldest sister in the family as well as set an example for her younger sister to follow./.
