Danielle Ryan was born in Dublin in 1983. Her father was an Irish pilot and her mother was a flight attendant of German-Sri Lankan descent. Her grandfather was the son of a train driver and made his living in the air transport industry. At the time of his death in 2007, Danielle's grandfather was the 7th richest person in Ireland.
