Host country UAE makes it difficult for Vietnamese fans

Before the important match, Vietnamese fans in the UAE planned to buy tickets to the stadium to cheer on coach Park Hang-seo and his team. Fans wishing to enter the stadium must have a certificate of having received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.

However, what Vietnamese fans in Dubai could not have expected was that all tickets in the away team area (door J) were announced to be sold out, even though this was a bad position, located in the corner of the field.

In particular, the host organizers sold tickets right after the match between Vietnam and Malaysia ended, leaving the red shirt fans unable to react.

"This could be a plot by the UAE to not allow Vietnamese fans to enter the stadium to cheer. We are very upset about this ugly action by the host country," said Pham Thi Nga, a Vietnamese fan in Dubai.

In the two matches against Indonesia and Malaysia, a large number of Vietnamese fans were present in the stands, creating a passionate atmosphere to support Coach Park Hang-seo and his team. However, in the match against UAE, Vietnamese fans are facing many difficulties to be able to enter the field in the match against the host team UAE.

It is known that Vietnamese fans have bought some tickets in the area reserved for home fans, for about 150,000 VND. Tickets priced at 900,000 VND have all been sold out.

"We are trying to get tickets to enter the stadium, then gather together to cheer for the team. Currently, my group has bought more than 20 tickets. UAE intentionally played hard, but could not win the spirit of the Vietnamese fans for the flag and colors," fans in Dubai affirmed.

Ms. Dinh Nguyet Anh, an enthusiastic fan of the Vietnam National Team in the UAE, shared: "If we cannot buy tickets in the area for Vietnamese fans, we will only have to buy tickets in the area for fans of the host country UAE. However, if we enter that area wearing a red shirt with a yellow star, we do not know if the Organizing Committee will let us in, and we do not know how to cheer if we enter there."

Ms. Nguyet Anh added: "Currently, many Vietnamese people in the UAE are eligible to buy tickets to the stadium, however, the way the organizers distribute tickets like this will make it difficult for Vietnamese fans. I hope the Vietnam Football Federation will have opinions and support to help us."

According to the match schedule, coach Park Hang-seo and his team will face the number one competitor in the group, UAE - the team playing at home, at 11:45 p.m. on June 15. If they receive the support of Vietnamese fans, coach Park Hang-seo and his team will surely play more fiercely in the final match./.
