Deep flood water, Quynh Luu residents evacuated to avoid flood
(Baonghean.vn) - Heavy rains over a large area in Quynh Luu district (Nghe An) continue to develop complicatedly, causing many communes and towns to be deeply flooded. Police, military, militia, etc. have been mobilized to flooded areas to help people escape the flood.

Due to the influence of storm No. 6, on September 25, heavy rain occurred inQuynh Luu districtcaused many localities to be deeply flooded; some places were completely isolated such as Quynh Lam, Quynh Hoa, and Quynh My communes.
This afternoon, functional forces including police, district military, militia and local youth were mobilized to the flooded area to help people "escape the flood".

In hamlet 13, Quynh Lam commune, the water was nearly 1 meter deep, many families had toevacuationto other places to ensure safety. In that situation, dozens of police and military officers and soldiers... supported people in transporting assets, livestock and poultry to safety. At the same time, the district assigned 100% of its forces to be on duty, ready to rescue and evacuate people in deeply flooded areas when ordered.

According to statistics, many localities are currently suffering from deep flooding due to heavy rains such as Quynh My, Quynh Hoa, Quynh Hau communes and Dong Lo area in Cau Giat town. The functional forces are continuing to coordinate with local authorities to help people overcome the consequences caused by floods.
