To collect the debt, Thuc threatened to cut off Thanh's two fingers to pay off the debt, forcing the victim to write a paper to sell the car to them...

On November 1, the Criminal Police Department of Hai Duong Provincial Police said that it had coordinated with Hai Duong City Police to investigate and clarify two robberies.

The Investigation Police Agency of Hai Duong Province has issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and execute the order to temporarily detain two subjects for the act of robbery, including Tran Dinh Thuc (27 years old, residing in Co Phap village, Cong Hoa commune) and Vu Tuan Thanh (17 years old, residing in Dun village, Nam Hong commune, Nam Sach district, Hai Duong province).

In particular, the subject Tran Dinh Thuc was also prosecuted for the same crime in another case. In these two cases, under the guise of being employees of a financial support consulting company, the two subjects threatened the debtor to demand money.

Nearly half a year ago, due to needing money for personal expenses, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh (residing in Nam Dong commune, Hai Duong city) borrowed money from Nguyen Hai Duong (29 years old, residing in Linh Quang area, Ai Quoc ward, Hai Duong city).

Duong introduced Thanh to meet and borrow money from Nguyen Anh Quoc, Director of Dai Dong Investment and Trading Company Limited (Dai Dong Company for short), which provides loan services at the company's office in Doc Lap area, Ai Quoc ward, Hai Duong city. After the agreement, Quoc agreed and directed Tran Dinh Thuc to lend Thanh 5,000,000 VND.

After the deadline, Thuc kept calling Thanh, pressuring him to pay. On September 1, while Thanh was playing video games at Nice Game in Nam Sach district, he was discovered by two people, whom Thanh later knew as Phan and Nguyen Phuc Thanh (18 years old, from Trac Chau village, An Chau commune, Hai Duong city); they beat him and took him to Dai Dong Company to meet Thuc.

At Dai Dong Company, Thanh was cursed at and beaten by Vu Tuan Thanh and Thuc, leaving his face bruised, then asked to call his wife to bring money to pay. Thanh's family had no money left, so Thanh refused their request.

During his detention, Thuc demanded that Thanh pay a total of 10,000,000 VND, even though he had actually only borrowed 5 million VND. The subjects continued to pressure him, and at around 9:00 p.m. the same day, Thanh was forced to agree to take the subjects to Thanh and his wife's rented house.

Also accompanying Thuc's group at this time was Do Van The (23 years old, from Truong Giang village, Thanh Xuan commune, Thanh Ha), Thuc's friend. Halfway there, Thanh changed his mind and refused to return home. At this time, Thuc threatened to cut off Thanh's two fingers to pay off the debt...

In addition to Mr. Thanh's case as mentioned above, from April to June 2018, due to needing money to spend, Mr. Pham Van Suc (residing in Hai Duong City) borrowed 220 million VND from Nguyen Anh Quoc many times. After the deadline, Quoc met Mr. Suc many times to ask for money but was unsuccessful, so he contacted Mr. Suc by phone and made an appointment to meet Mr. Suc to agree on the payment at 12:30 on July 28.

In this meeting, to demonstrate his power, Quoc ordered Thuc, Vu Tuan Thanh and Le Quang Thang (17 years old, residing in Nam Sach district, Hai Duong province) to go with him. During the conversation, Mr. Suc proposed to pay 15 million VND in installments each month, but Quoc did not agree...

After asking Mr. Suc's family to leave, Quoc and the others pressured Mr. Suc to write a paper to sell the truck, license plate 34C-188-58, to Thuc for 300 million VND... After that, Quoc left, handing over all the debt collection to Thuc. Thuc then forced the victim to write a paper to sell the car to them...
