Super small Indian car, priced at only 153 million VND
Mahindra's super compact SUV has just been launched in the Indian market with a new look and technology, with a starting price of only 439,000 Rupees (about 153 million VND).
Mahindra - India's leading low-cost car manufacturer - has just introduced to the market an upgraded version of the small urban SUV KUV100 called KUV100 NXT. KUV100 was introduced in 2016, creating a fever in the market with its super cheap price. Thus, in less than two years, KUV100 has had 2 generations in the Indian market.

Although it is a small, cheap car model, every detail on the KUV100 NXT is very valuable. In particular, compared to the old version, the KUV100 NXT has many changes in design towards more modernity and convenience.
The basic dimensions of the Mahindra KUV100 NXT are 3,700 mm long, 1,735 mm wide and 1,655 mm high. This new upgrade is 25 mm longer and 30 mm wider than the Mahindra KUV100.

Mahindra KUV100 NXT also has some changes in exterior design compared to the old version. The front of the car stands out with a new, more aggressive grille, separated from the fog light vents, covered on the outside is a wide plastic strip with the KUV100 NTX logo attached. The front bumper is also redesigned to be more aggressive, with a prominent silver underbody panel. Next to it is a cluster of LED DRLs headlights with daytime running lights located below, large fog lights surrounded by glossy black plastic borders.
On the side of the car, there are 15-inch two-tone alloy wheels, rearview mirrors with integrated turn signals and flared wheel arches. All details of the rearview mirrors, bumpers, wheel covers, roof, and door sills are painted jet black and come with black plastic trim.

The rear of the car is designed with two stylized raised lines on both sides of the body, covering the taillights, clearer taillights, redesigned trunk lid and new roof spoiler. The rear bumper is also redesigned with a silver skid plate with the exhaust pipe located deep below.
Not only the exterior, Mahindra also breathed new life into the interior of the KUV100 NXT with fabric-covered seats, upgraded seat cushions, a 3-spoke steering wheel with a simple design and buttons arranged on the left. The instrument cluster and center console have also been impressively refreshed.

In terms of technology, the KUV100 NXT is equipped with standard amenities including Bluetooth connectivity, a new infotainment system with voice alerts, a 7-inch touchscreen and GPS navigation, a new air-conditioning control screen, auto-folding exterior mirrors, an electric trunk door, reverse parking sensors, and a remote trunk key.
However, the Mahindra KUV100 NXT's engine is carried over from the old version. The KUV100 NXT still uses a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces a maximum capacity of 82 horsepower and a maximum torque of 115 Nm. The next engine option is a 1.2-liter diesel engine called mFalcon75 that produces 77 horsepower and 190 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
