Cars compete to reduce prices, many cars under 300 million VND
It’s only been a few days since February 2018, but many car manufacturers have already started a price-cutting race to attract buyers as the Lunar New Year approaches. Small cars produced and assembled domestically are getting the biggest discounts.
THACO continues to offer many incentives and strong discounts on many car models before the Lunar New Year 2018. Accordingly, the three car models with adjusted prices this time include: Kia Morning, Rondo and Cerato. The lowest discount is 4 million VND, the highest is 50 million VND.
Specifically, the low-cost Kia Morning model has been adjusted down by 4-16 million VND. Morning Si MT 1.25L, Morning Si AT 1.25L has been reduced by 4 million VND, selling prices are 345 million VND and 375 million VND respectively. Morning MT 1.0L version has been reduced by 5 million VND, down to 290 million VND; Morning EX 1.25L version has been reduced by 16 million VND, down to 299 million VND.

The price of Cerato cars this February has been adjusted down by 10-14 million VND. Cerato 1.6 MT has been reduced from 539 million VND to 525 million VND; Cerato 1.6 AT and 2.0 AT have been reduced by 10 million VND, with prices of 579 million VND and 629 million VND respectively.
Leading the price reduction is the MPV model - Kia Rondo 50 million VND. The Rondo 1.7 DAT and Kia Rondo GATH 2.0 versions are reduced by 50 million VND, down to 749 million VND. Other versions are Rondo GMT 2.0 and Rondo GAT 2.0, reduced by 10 million VND, selling prices are 609 million VND and 669 million VND respectively.
In February 2018, Chevrolet Vietnam continues to implement a discount policy for many car models. This price includes VAT. During this discount period, the five-seat small hatchback Chevrolet Spark receives a big price discount.
Of which, the Spark Duo LS version is reduced by 30 million VND, the price is only 269 million VND. The Spark LS and Spark LT versions are both reduced by 25 million VND, bringing the retail price down to 334 million VND and 364 million VND.
With this price, Chevrolet Spark has surpassed Kia Morning, officially becoming the cheapest A-class car model in the Vietnamese market at the present time. With a selling price from 269 million VND, Chevrolet Spark has become the cheapest five-seat small car in the A-class small car segment. Kia Morning is currently priced from 290 million VND, while Hyundai Grand i10 is priced from 315 million VND.
The Chevrolet Aveo LTZ version has its selling price adjusted down by 60 million VND compared to the old price, down to 435 million VND. Similarly, the Chevrolet Aveo LT version is also reduced by 50 million VND, bringing the retail price down to 409 million VND.
The Chevrolet Cruze LTZ version is discounted by up to 80 million VND, bringing the new price down to only 619 million VND. The Chevrolet Cruze LT version is discounted by 70 million VND, down to 519 million VND.
The Chevrolet Orlando 1.8L LTZ model has been reduced by 15 million VND, from 699 million VND to 684 million VND. The Chevrolet Captiva REVV has also been adjusted to reduce its price by 44 million VND compared to the old price, bringing the selling price down to 835 million VND.
The Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck models 2.8L 4x4 AT LTZ and 2.8L 4x4 AT LTZ High Country are both reduced by 10 million VND, resulting in new prices of 799 million VND and 829 million VND respectively.
