The Brio urban hatchback and the Brio Amaze sedan version are making waves in the Thai market thanks to their low price and good quality.

Honda has officially launched the upgraded versions of the Brio and Brio Amaze models in the Thai market. These are two models developed from the same platform, while the Brio has a compact hatchback design, the Brio Amaze is an elegant sedan. Compared to the previous generation, both the Honda Brio and Brio Amaze have some changes in interior and exterior design.

The exterior of the Honda Brio 2017 is more aggressive with a larger air intake at the front, larger fog lamps and a thicker black plastic grille with two horizontal bars than before, along with the manufacturer's logo, and a new thick chrome strip at the rear. The interior has a new dashboard, with silver accents, combined with matte black plastic and piano black accessories, simpler and more logically arranged. Next to it is a 2-DIN entertainment system from JVC and a digital screen.

Cheap car but quite eye-catching appearance.

The 2017 Honda Brio Amaze is also known as Amaze in some markets like India. The exterior of the car has new projector headlights with LED daytime running lights, a new grille, front bumper, redesigned taillights, different alloy wheels and a spoiler integrated into the rear trunk lid. The interior has a new dashboard with a sound system that can be connected via Bluetooth, a new MID multi-information display, a smart key system and a push-button start.

The interior is no less luxurious.

Both the 2017 Brio and 2017 Brio Amaze use a 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 90 horsepower and a maximum torque of 110 Nm, slightly larger than before. The engine is combined with a new CVT box.

In the Thai market, Honda Brio 2017 has 3 exterior color options: Crystal Black, Pearl White and Silver Metallic. The car has only one version, V CVT, with a starting price of 495,000 Baht, equivalent to 310 million VND. Meanwhile, Honda Brio Amaze 2017 has 2 versions, V CVT and SV CVT, with 3 paint color options like the upgraded Brio. The corresponding prices of these two versions are 517,000 Baht (324 million VND) and 577,000 Baht (361 million VND).

Both the 2017 Brio and 2017 Brio Amaze use i-VTEC petrol engines.
