Kia cars hit record low again, competing with Japanese cars
Entering February 2018, the prices of Kia cars continued to decrease. In particular, the MPV Kia Rondo model was reduced by 50 million VND, bringing the selling price to a record low.
Of which, the Kia Rondo MPV model has the biggest discount, with the highest discount of up to 50 million VND. Specifically, the Kia Rondo GATH 2.0 has a discount of 50 million VND, bringing the selling price from 799 million VND to 749 million VND. The Rondo 1.7 DAT version is also reduced by 50 million VND, bringing the selling price from 799 million VND to 749 million VND. The Rondo GMT 2.0 version is adjusted down by 10 million VND, bringing the retail price from 619 million VND to 609 million VND. The Rondo GAT 2.0 version is also reduced by 10 million VND, from 679 million VND to 669 million VND.
The Kia Cerato also saw a significant price reduction, with a reduction of 10-14 million VND, depending on the version. The Cerato 1.6 MT version saw a reduction of 14 million VND, bringing the retail price from 539 million VND to 525 million VND. The Cerato 1.6 AT and 2.0 AT versions were both reduced by 10 million VND, with prices of 579 million VND and 629 million VND, respectively.

The domestically assembled D-class passenger car Kia Optima also saw a sharp price drop this February. Specifically, the Optima 2.0 AT version was reduced by 30 million VND, bringing the retail price from 819 million VND to 789 million VND. The Optima 2.0 ATH version was also reduced by 30 million VND, to 869 million VND. The Optima 2.4 GT-line version was reduced by 20 million VND, to 949 million VND.
The low-cost Kia Morning model also has a slight price reduction this time. In particular, the Morning MT 1.0L version is reduced by 5 million VND, bringing the selling price from 295 million VND to 290 million VND. The Morning Si MT 1.25L version is reduced by 4 million VND, bringing the retail price to 345 million VND. The Morning Si AT 1.25L version is also reduced by 4 million VND, bringing the selling price to 375 million VND. The Morning S AT 1.25L version has no change in price, still listed at 390 million VND.

Not only Kia models, many domestically produced and assembled car models have recently received price incentives.
All car models being assembled by Toyota Vietnam such as Vios, Innova, Altis are being slightly discounted from 3-10%, equivalent to 25-58 million VND from the beginning of the end of the year 11/2017. Recently, Mitsubishi Vietnam announced the selling price of the 5+2 crossover Mitsubishi Outlander assembled domestically with a reduction of about 200 million VND compared to the fully imported version from Japan.

The 2016 assembled Isuzu mu-X model is also being discounted by up to 114 million VND by many dealers.
This February, some Mazda models such as Mazda3, Mazda2, Mazda6 are also discounted from 10-40 million VND.
