Car plunges into ravine, 5 killed.

On the evening of December 16th, a serious traffic accident occurred on the border patrol road in Hamlet 56B, Dak Re Commune, Nam Giang District, Quang Nam Province.

According to initial information from the Nam Giang District Police, the vehicle involved in the accident was carrying nine people, including soldiers from Battalion 885, Brigade 83 of the Navy. Upon reaching the area, the vehicle suddenly plunged into a ravine, resulting in five deaths and four injuries.

Immediately after receiving the information, the authorities in Nam Giang district arrived at the scene and promptly provided emergency medical care to the injured.

Currently, the health of two of the four injured is critical. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident.
