Car plunged into abyss, 5 people died

On the evening of December 16, a serious traffic accident occurred on the border patrol road in village 56B, Dak Re commune, Nam Giang district, Quang Nam province.

According to initial information from Nam Giang District Police, the car that crashed was carrying 9 people, including soldiers from Battalion 885, Brigade 83 of the Navy. When reaching the above area, the car suddenly plunged into the abyss, killing 5 people and injuring 4 others.

Immediately after receiving the information, Nam Giang district authorities were present at the scene and urgently took the injured to the emergency room.

Currently, the health of 2 out of 4 injured people is very critical. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident.
