Mitsubishi cars unexpectedly reduced by nearly 200 million right before Tet
Before the Lunar New Year 2018, the SUV model imported from the Japanese market Mitsubishi Pajero has been discounted by 164 million VND. Previously, many Mitsubishi models also had "huge" discounts.
In February 2018, Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam adjusted the selling prices of several Mitsubishi car models on the market.
Among them, the SUV model imported completely from the Japanese market, Mitsubishi Pajero, received the most preferential price, with a reduction of up to 164 million VND. The selling price of the Mitsubishi Pajero SUV is currently 1.956 billion VND, instead of 2.120 billion VND as the listed price.

In addition to Mitsubishi Pajero, some other Mitsubishi models in Vietnam also have reduced prices.
Specifically, 4 versions of the Mitsubishi Mirage model including MT, CVT, MT Eco, CVT Eco are all discounted by an additional 10 million VND. 4 versions of the Mitsubishi Attage model are also discounted from 10 - 15 million VND. The price of Mitsubishi Attage currently ranges from 410 - 505 million VND.
The Mitsubishi Triton pickup truck also has a discount of 15 million VND for all versions. The current selling price of Mitsubishi Triton ranges from 576 - 785 million VND. The 2 versions of Mitsubishi All New Pajero Sport, Gasoline 4x2 AT and Gasoline 4x4 AT, both receive a cash discount of 15 million VND.
Previously, in January 2018, Mitsubishi launched the 5+2 crossover Mitsubishi Outlander assembled domestically with all 3 versions. Compared to the fully imported version from Japan, the selling price of the domestically assembled Mitsubishi Outlander is reduced by about 200 million VND.
In the car price reduction war in the Vietnamese market, Mitsubishi is a car company that is very "willing to spend" when implementing many shocking price reductions for customers.
In January 2018, Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam announced price reductions for many of its car models in Vietnam such as Mitsubishi All New Pajero Sport, Pajero, Outlander, Pajero Sport... with discounts ranging from 10-164 million VND.
Previously, in 2017, Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam continuously reduced prices for many car models with a reduction of up to 100-200 million VND at a time.
Not only Mitsubishi, recently, many car manufacturers have continuously announced incentive and discount programs for their car models distributed, manufactured and assembled in Vietnam.

According to the February 2018 price list just announced by Nissan, many of the company's car models have been adjusted down from 10-53 million VND, along with car accessory gifts worth tens of millions of VND.
This February, Chevrolet Vietnam continues to implement a discount policy for many car models, with discounts ranging from 10 to 80 million VND. In particular, the price of Chevrolet Spark Duo LS is reduced by 30 million, down to 269 million VND, becoming the cheapest A-class car model in the Vietnamese market today.
According to the latest Kia car price list for February 2018, many domestically assembled Kia models such as Kia Morning, Kia Cerato, Optima, Rondo have had their prices adjusted down, with reductions ranging from 5-50 million VND.
All car models currently assembled by Toyota Vietnam such as Vios, Innova, Altis are currently having their prices slightly reduced by 3-10%, equivalent to 25-58 million VND.
In February 2018, some Mazda models such as Mazda3, Mazda2, Mazda6 also had their prices reduced from 10 to 40 million VND.
According to experts, many car companies are launching huge discount policies to increase competitiveness and gain market share, especially as the Lunar New Year is approaching.
