Biden calls North Korean leader Kim Jong-un the President of South Korea
According to Sputnik, the 81-year-old head of state made a serious mistake while criticizing his opponent in the 2024 US presidential election, Donald Trump, for his close relationship with the head of North Korea.

“We will never forget his (Trump) love letters to South Korean President Kim Jong-un,” the US President said in a speech at a campaign reception in Portola Valley, California.
Friday's blunder was not his first involving the South Korean president. In May 2022, Biden referred to Yoon as "President Moon" in comments after visiting a microchip factory. Yoon's predecessor was former President Moon Jae-in.
In the past year alone, the US president has confused the names and titles of current and former leaders of Mexico, Egypt, France, Germany and Ukraine. Last July, Biden called Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky “Belensky” and then confused the people of Ukraine with the people of Iran at the NATO summit in Lithuania.
