'Never feel ashamed of your child... You are her father, no one else,' the American father wrote.

Justin Baldoni is an American actor. He has a happy life with his family and little daughter. On June 19, he shared a photo of himself and his father and daughter at the supermarket. At that time, the father and daughter were looking down at their daughter lying on the floor "throwing a tantrum" with a very calm attitude.

Explaining his attitude, the 33-year-old father shared a long status. It immediately went viral with nearly 100,000 likes.

Below is what the actor shared:

"Yesterday I stayed off social media to avoid distractions and spend time with my family. So today I have time to share the story. My wife Emily took this photo at the supermarket. For me, it is the most beautiful photo of me and my father. Two men standing next to each other in silence, with a close father-daughter relationship and a little girl with a pure, innocent soul. And I know that together we will do everything for her.

I think about how many times I threw a tantrum when I was your age. My dad taught me many lessons about being a man. But this time, I’m going to talk about one thing: being comfortable with being uncomfortable. I grew up watching my dad do it to me over and over again.

No parent is perfect, but one thing my dad taught me is that I don't have to be the parent someone else wants me to be. He always let me feel what I needed to feel, even in public and when my actions were embarrassing.

He never said, “You’re embarrassing me,” or “Stop crying.” I don’t understand now what that meant for my emotions. Children often don’t know what to do with their new emotions. I don’t feel ashamed when my child throws a tantrum in the grocery store or screams on an airplane. I am his father, not someone else.

Never feel ashamed of your child. It doesn't say anything about you. We should be more calm and tolerant with ourselves. If we dare to express all our emotions, allow ourselves to be angry, cry when we need to do that, we will feel more joyful and happier."
