Facebook boss criticized by beautiful girl
Young billionaire Evan Spiegel's girlfriend said she doesn't understand how Mark Zuckerberg can steal other people's ideas and still sleep well every night.
In an interview with the UK's Sunday Times, Kerr expressed her opinion: "I can't stand Facebook. Can't they be creative? Why do they have to steal my boyfriend's ideas? When you copy someone, you can't call it creativity."
Miranda Kerr's boyfriend is Evan Spiegel, CEO of Snapchat. Spiegel and co-founder Bobby Murphy have been in the spotlight recently after Snap, the company that owns the Snapchat app, filed for an IPO that is expected to fetch a valuation of $25 billion, close to what Alibaba achieved in its 2014 IPO.

Not only Kerr, the tech world also noticed that Facebook seemed to like to copy Snapchat's service. In 2012, Mark Zuckerberg met with Spiegel and Murphy to introduce the Poke application with features similar to Snapchat to "show off" the two young founders. However, when Poke was born, it quickly fell into oblivion while Snapchat continued to grow rapidly.
In October 2016, Facebook tested camera filters and effects, allowing users to add special visual effects to chats, and many immediately noticed that this feature was blatantly imitating Snapchat.
Not stopping there, the world's largest social network continued to launch a service called Instagram Stories and now Facebook Stories. This feature allows users to post and share with friends photos taken during the day and those photos will automatically disappear after 24 hours. Of course, this feature was deployed by Snapchat a long time ago.
With such a "habit" of imitating Snapchat, some technology experts joke that Facebook will probably soon launch camera-mounted glasses identical to Snapchat's Spectacles.
"It's a shame. How can they sleep well?" Kerr said.
Miranda Kerr's Facebook page currently has nearly 8.3 million "likes" while the supermodel's Instagram account also attracts 10.6 million followers.
