The personal computer revolution took place in the US in 1989 and 1990, but for Donald Trump - the new President of the United States - computers seem to have little meaning. An interesting question posed by Gizmodo is: Has Trump ever used a computer?
The whole country knows that Trump is not a Twitter fan. That doesn't mean he never tweets. His aides do it. Some sources say he only tweets after 7 p.m.
The New York Times examined Trump's technology habits on July 28, 2015. The site's conclusions further confirmed the view that Donald Trump has never touched a computer.
Do you have a secretary who emails you? Trump was asked.
“I don't use email,” Trump said.
On the subject of web browsing, Gizmodo confirmed that he did read news from websites. However, it was the printed version.

At 70, Trump comes from an era when corporate executives weren't adept at typing. That was the job of secretaries and personal assistants.
If Trump never actually uses a personal computer, it could be a remarkable shift in American politics. From Bill Clinton in the early 1990s to George W. Bush in the 2000s to Barack Obama, American presidents have made great use of technology.
Of course, none of them are tech experts but they are often seen with technological devices in their daily work.
Even President Bush, who reportedly doesn't know how to scan a document, has been spotted using a computer from time to time.
There is no technology test for the US President. In theory, Mr. Trump is not required to use a computer or a smartphone. However, one cannot imagine how Trump will handle the mountain of work at the White House without touching a computer.

Somehow, Trump has mastered the high-tech demands of the biggest White House campaign in American history without ever touching a computer. He’s on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter — all orchestrated by his aides.
In a 2015 interview on Howard Stern's radio show, he mocked the thing called email:
“Email really fascinates me. I have friends and half of them email each other all the time. When they’re on the phone, they can’t even say hello, but they’ll write you an email saying they’re having sex with 15 married women. It’s unbelievable. Email is incredible.”
It wasn’t until late July that people first caught a photo of Trump using a computer. However, even in that photo, his hands were not touching the keyboard. This photo is believed to have been taken when Donald Trump participated in an online AMA (Ask Me Anything) on the Reddit forum.
