Erdogan demands extradition of those responsible for Khashoggi's murder
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has demanded that Saudi Arabia extradite those responsible for the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi to Türkiye, as the crime took place in Istanbul.

According to Mr. Erdogan, journalist Khashoggi "was painfully murdered because of a dirty campaign".
Türkiye previously accused the Saudi Arabian Consul General of being involved in the murder of Mr. Khashoggi in Istanbul.
In addition, the Turkish Foreign Ministry announced that several G20 foreign ministers agreed to issue a joint request to conduct an international investigation into the journalist's murder.
