North Korean and Chinese state media both reported that leader Kim Jong-un traveled to Dalian city to meet with President Xi Jinping on May 7 and 8.
According to NHK (Japan) television station, two planes belonging to Air Koryo (North Korea) appeared at Dalian airport on May 8, one of which was an Ilyushin-76 transport plane.
Many observers believe that the North Korean convoy could be carrying a significant amount of cargo to China. According to nknews.org, the Ilyushin-76 can carry up to 50 tons of cargo.
