According to KCNA, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un supervised the testing of the aforementioned weapons system. He was accompanied by General Kim Jong Sik, a member of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), and General Jang Chang Ha, Director General of the North Korean Missile Bureau.
