Medvedev declares Russia has no 'red lines' with France
(Baonghean.vn) - Commenting on French President Emmanuel Macron's statement about unlimited assistance to Ukraine, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev affirmed that Russia has no "red lines" with France.

According to Ria Novosti news agency, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that Russia has no "red lines" in relations with France, following the statement of French President Emmanuel Macron.
Previously, BFMTV channel reported that at a meeting with opposition leaders on March 7, President Macron declared that there were "no limits" and "no red lines" in France's support for Ukraine.
"Macron spoke about unlimited support for Ukraine. This means that Russia has no red lines in relations with France," Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev wrote on social network X.
In his post, Mr. Medvedev also referred to the Latin phrase "In Hostem omina lita", which means "in relation to the enemy, everything is allowed".
Also on March 7, the leader of the French Patriots party, Florian Phillippot, posted an article on social network X, criticizing President Macron after his statement of support for Ukraine.
"Mr. Macron has just confirmed to everyone that he has no borders and no red lines in the war with Russia! It is unthinkable to think of a "NATO puppet" - Mr. Phillippot expressed his opinion.
According to the French politician, President Macron's statement means there is a possibility of sending French ground forces, or even providing nuclear weapons to the European Union.
"All French people, stand up and react for peace. This is a very serious moment!" - Mr. Phillippot called.
