Mr. Peskov: There are countries that do not like Putin leading Russia.
(Baonghean.vn) - Russian President's press secretary Dmitry Peskov frankly stated that some countries in the world do not like Russia's development under the leadership of President Vladimir Putin, although on the international level, under Putin, Russia has made many great contributions, quietly rising and restoring its superpower status.

In an interview with RT TV channel, Mr. Peskov said that in the bilateral relationship between Russia and the US, or Russia and the West, people often mention the cold war, as well as some countries in the world completely "not accepting" Russia's development under the leadership of President Putin.
When asked about the possibility of a new “cold war” between Russia and the West, Mr. Peskov said: “We are always interested in and analyze the reasons that led to the Cold War, but unfortunately, those factors do not show signs of abating, but rather are increasing in international relations. Because it seems that not every country likes Putin to lead Russia.”
Yet President Vladimir Putin’s Russia has emerged from the depths of crisis. And international sanctions have been turned into incentives for Russia to discover and use its own power.
“There is a paradox that the higher Russia's influence, the more obstacles it faces in international relations,” added Press Secretary Peskov, emphasizing that some countries are even willing to violate international laws and regulations when “punishing and suppressing” Russia.
The Kremlin has no intention of talking about the beginning of a new “cold war” between Russia and the West, he added, stressing that “each time the accusations are made, there is no evidence”.
But not too pessimistic about a bright future in the relationship between Russia and the West, Mr. Peskov expressed his belief: "Many European countries clearly understand that Russia is an inseparable part of this continent and in the process of prosperous development of Europe, Russia's voice and efforts cannot be absent"./.
