Putin may attend rally on March 3 in Moscow
Russian presidential candidate Vladimir Putin may take part in a rally on March 3 in Moscow organized by an organization supporting his election campaign, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

"We cannot rule this out," Peskov said in response to a question about whether Putin would take part in the March 3 rally.
It was previously reported that Mr Putin's election headquarters would hold a rally in his support at the Luzhniki Stadium on March 3. Thousands of people are expected to attend the event.
The election of the head of state will be held on March 18. Candidates for the post of Russian president include the leader of the "Union of the Russian People" Sergei Baburin, the director of the Lenin farm Pavel Grudinin nominated by the Communist Party, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, traditionally the candidate of the Liberal Democratic Party, the incumbent President of Russia Vladimir Putin - nominated himself, TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak nominated by the "Civil Initiative" party, the chairman of the "Communist Russia" Maxim Suraykin, businessman Boris Titov - a candidate from the Party of Development, and one of the founders of the "Yabloko" party - Grigory Yavlinsky. These names will be listed in this order on the ballot paper, in alphabetical order.
