"Mr. Vladimir Vladimirovich, I congratulate you on your convincing and transparent victory in the elections, and present you with this certificate," Pamfilova said at the meeting with Mr. Putin, as reported on the Kremlin website.

In turn, the current head of state of Russia thanked the Central Election Commission for its important work for the country. The recent presidential election was the cleanest in the history of Russia, - Vladimir Putin declared.

"The election is a huge national affair, very important for the country. According to the general opinion, this work was carried out at the highest level not only in terms of technology but also in terms of organization. Many people commented that this was perhaps the most transparent and cleanest election in the history of our country," - the Kremlin website quoted Mr. Vladimir Putin as saying.
