Putin inspects one of the “most powerful war machines in the world”
Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the SP Gorbunov Aviation Plant in Kazan and witnessed a demonstration flight as part of the flight test program of the new strategic bomber Tu-160 Piotr Deinekin.

It is the largest swing-wing aircraft, one of the most powerful war machines in the world.
In 2015, Russia decided to continue producing this type of strategic missile-carrying aircraft at the factory in Kazan.
On November 16, 2017, the new aircraft was transferred from the final assembly workshop to the factory's test airfield. After modernization, the Tu-160M's power will increase by 60%.

The Tu-160 can cover a distance of more than 12 thousand kilometers on one refueling and is therefore used on missions around the globe.
