Vladimir Putin has just had a phone call with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. Putin and Zelensky agreed to continue working at the expert level on the return of "detainees from both sides."

Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the Russian leader, clarified that the phone call was held at the initiative of the Ukrainian side. He noted that the two presidents discussed the settlement of the conflict in Donbass.
According to Mr. Peskov, Mr. Putin and Mr. Zelensky agreed to continue working at the expert level on the return of "detainees on both sides."
"In addition, the two sides discussed the possibility of continuing contacts in the Norman format," - Mr. Peskov concluded.
Earlier this week, Mr Zelensky had suggested that Mr Putin meet in Minsk. He noted that the heads of the United States, France, Britain and Germany should also attend the meeting.
