Putin: The US will never reveal information about the MH17 plane crash
Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the United States will never disclose information about the crash of the Malaysian Boeing MH17 over the Donbass region if it contradicts the view that the militias of this region are to blame.
Mr. Putin said this in an interview with American director Oliver Stone. The translated version of the interview with the Russian President was released in the US on June 16.
Director Stone asked the Russian leader if he believed that US intelligence had information about the downing of flight MH17. In the director’s view, US intelligence agencies should have been monitoring the situation in Ukraine after the 2014 coup.
"I'm sure they have information. But unfortunately there is no evidence that we have received from our partners," Mr. Putin said in response.

"That's quite understandable, because we know their position on Ukraine. And they certainly want to blame the militias in Donbass, and indirectly Russia, which is supporting the militias," the President continued.
"If that information contradicts such a position, they will never reveal it," Putin concluded.
Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17, a Boeing 777, crashed on July 17, 2014, in the Donetsk region of Ukraine. All 298 people on board were killed. Russia has repeatedly claimed that the Netherlands is trying to delay the investigation and that investigators are ignoring data provided by Moscow.
