Secretary General of the National Assembly Bui Van Cuong said: The National Assembly Standing Committee assigned Mr. Tran Thanh Man, Politburo member, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly to direct the activities of the National Assembly Standing Committee and the National Assembly until the position of Chairman of the 15th National Assembly is completed according to regulations.

This content in Notice No. 3568/TB-TTKQH notifies the opinion of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the assignment of management of activities of the National Assembly Standing Committee and the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to press agencies.
Also in the Press Release on the results of the 7th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly sent to the press agencies, Mr. Bui Van Cuong said: At the 7th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly held at the National Assembly House, the National Assembly considered the dismissal of the position of Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the 2021-2026 term, approved the dismissal of the position of Member of the National Defense and Security Council, and dismissed the duties of a National Assembly deputy of the 15th term for Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Phong city.
After listening to the presentations and comments of Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue, the National Assembly discussed, voted by secret ballot and passed a Resolution to relieve Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue from the position of Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the 2021-2026 term, approved the dismissal of the position of member of the National Defense and Security Council, and dismissed him from his duties as a deputy of the 15th National Assembly.
