Behind a series of private inspection centers with violations is "boss" Tran Lap Nghia (47 years old, from Soc Trang).
Tran Lap Nghia is the director of 5 vehicle inspection centers, including: Inspection Center 62-03D (Long An province); 71-02D (Ben Tre province); 83-02D (Soc Trang province); 66-02D (Dong Thap province); 63-02D (Tien Giang province).

"Boss" Tran Lap Nghia originally worked at the State inspection center. After becoming proficient, he established and operated a series of private inspection centers.
Police determined that at Tran Lap Nghia's inspection centers, the authorities discovered the act.fakein the work with the trick of making a list of inspectors but not working at the center to legalize the regulations on business of motor vehicle inspection services.
Tran Lap Nghia arranged for employees to wear uniforms, pretend to be inspectors to operate the inspection line and directed employees to forge inspectors' signatures to sign inspection documents.
Previously, on December 28, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department coordinated with the Hanoi Police Department and professional units of the Ministry of Public Security to search the Motor Vehicle Inspection Department, Vietnam Register (address 18 Pham Hung, My Dinh Ward, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi).
After the police read the search warrant, some absent document holders were summoned for inspection. The officers present at the Motor Vehicle Inspection Department were asked by the authorities to remain seated in the room so that the investigating agency could classify and search them according to the order, procedures, and regulations of the law.
In addition to many stacks of files and papers on regulations on functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Department of Motor Vehicle Inspection; decisions on personnel; decisions on establishing inspection teams for vehicle inspection activities... the technical force of the Ministry of Public Security coordinated to inspect the department's shared computers containing image data about vehicle inspection stations, and personal computers with electronic data to serve the investigation.
To date, Ho Chi Minh City Police have prosecuted and temporarily detained nearly 50 people in the negative cases that occurred at vehicle inspection centers in southern provinces and cities. These people were prosecuted for bribery, bribery brokerage, bribery acceptance, and falsification of work. The police have invited many related people to the headquarters to assist in the investigation./.
