Dailymail reported that in a meeting with soldiers at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland, USA on September 15, Mr. Trump declared that the US Air Force and the powerful military equipment they are equipped with will overwhelm North Korea in the war against Pyongyang's nuclear weapons program.
Standing in front of the B-2 stealth bomber, the “iron bird” capable of dropping nuclear bombs, Mr. Trump condemned Pyongyang for “disrespecting its neighbors and the world.”
“Nothing inspires more confidence in our friends or strikes fear in our enemies than seeing American fighter jets on the horizon. Our pilots have shown that America dominates the air and space wherever we go. Now when our enemies hear the F-35s roaring overhead, they will feel fear in their hearts and know that judgment is near,” Trump said.
At Andrews base, Mr. Trump toured and admired the most modern jets and bombers in service.
“After seeing your capabilities and hearing your commitment, I feel extremely confident that we have many effective and overwhelming military options. The superiority of the United States Air Force is unquestionable, but we not only have the most powerful equipment, we also have the best soldiers,” Mr. Trump praised.
On the morning of September 15, North Korea launched a missile over Japanese territory into the Pacific Ocean. This was the second North Korean missile to fly over Japan in less than a month and the missile with the longest range ever launched by Pyongyang.
