Trump criticizes 'Obama's people' for leaking calls with world leaders
US President Donald Trump has accused White House staff, who worked during the administration of his predecessor, Barack Obama, of leaking details of his recent calls with his Mexican counterpart and the Australian Prime Minister.

Share with the news agencyFox NewsOn February 4, President Donald Trump accused “Obama staffers” of leaking details of two recent “heated” phone calls between the White House boss and Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto to news agencies, causing the information to appear widely online. President Trump said he is gradually replacing the remaining staff from the administration of former President Barack Obama who are still working at the White House and the National Security Council.
“It’s a disgrace that they leaked that information because it’s extremely bad for our country. It’s very dangerous for the United States,” Mr. Trump said, without explaining why he believed it was government officials currently working in both the Democratic and Republican parties who leaked the information.
President Trump said media reports that he had two “heated” phone calls with the Mexican president and the Australian prime minister were completely false. Instead, the New York billionaire insisted he had a “positive” relationship with both countries and their leaders. The White House boss also said his administration was working hard to find the individuals behind the embarrassing leak.
On February 3, White House spokesman Sean Spicer announced that the agency is investigating why details of President Trump's calls with foreign leaders were leaked, emphasizing that the incident "has serious intentions."
Previously, the newspaperWashington Postand several other media outlets reported that President Trump became angry and hung up the phone midway through a phone call with the Australian Prime Minister about the refugee issue. Meanwhile, the news agencyAPIn a phone call with his Mexican counterpart, President Trump threatened to send US troops across the US-Mexico border to the neighboring country to stop "bad guys" if Mexico did not make more efforts.
