Mr. Trump suddenly 'words' praising his beautiful and outstanding wife

In an email sent to supporters, Mr. Trump posted a photo of himself and his wife dancing after last year's presidential inauguration and wished her a happy birthday.

"Family is one of the greatest things in life and serving as America's First Family is truly an honor! This month, our family is looking forward to a very special day!" he began the email. "Please join us in wishing the First Lady and my beautiful, kind, and remarkable wife Melania a happy birthday by signing her card."

Mrs. Melania was born on April 26, 1970 in Slovenia before coming to the US to pursue a modeling career and marrying Mr. Trump in 2005.

In the email, the US president also praised his wife as the foundation of his family, a "wonderful mother" to their son Barron.

"I would not be who I am today without her by my side," he said. "I am proud of her achievements and I hope you will celebrate her on her special day."

However, when clicking on the signature section on the first lady's birthday card, supporters are also asked to choose an amount to contribute to Mr. Trump's "Make America Great Again" campaign.

This drew criticism from some on Twitter, who mocked him for using his wife's birthday to raise money to hire lawyers to defend him in lawsuits related to sexual harassment and affairs with porn stars.
