Billionaire Donald Trump admits that being president of the United States is a heavier responsibility than he thought.
Following his meeting with the president-elect last week, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich told USA Today that Trump has begun to feel the burden of being in charge of the White House.
Mr. Gingrich stated, "Mr. Trump remarked that the responsibilities of being president are far beyond what he imagined." According to Mr. Gingrich, as the US president, Mr. Trump can decide war and peace; he has immense power, and everything is at his disposal.

After President Barack Obama met with Trump at the White House on November 10, a source told The Wall Street Journal that Trump “appeared surprised by the responsibilities that come with being president.” According to the newspaper, the New York billionaire was unaware that he would have to replace the entire White House staff upon taking office.
Meanwhile, at the first stop on his "Thank You" tour in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 1st, Trump promised a "new era of peace." According to him, the United States under his leadership would "stop trying to overthrow governments around the world" and cooperate with countries to fight terrorism, including the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS).
