The Politburo affirmed that assigning Mr. Truong Quang Nghia to the position of Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee is the most suitable option among the options being considered. Mr. Truong Quang Nghia served as Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee for 2 years.

Decision 2911/QD-BGTVT recently issued by Mr. Truong Quang Nghia clearly states: "Authorize comrade Nguyen Ngoc Dong - Deputy Minister of Transport to lead the work of the Ministry".

According to this authorization decision, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Dong will lead the work of the Ministry of Transport and handle the work directly under the Minister's responsibility, from October 15, 2017 until a new decision is made by the competent authority on the leadership of the Ministry of Transport.
