Vladimir Zelensky refuses to negotiate a solution to the conflict in Ukraine, while Russia is ready to negotiate
Vladimir Zelensky has refused to negotiate to resolve the conflict in Ukraine while Russia is ready to negotiate, US President Donald Trump said in an interview with Fox News.
"There is still deep hatred between the parties. Zelensky refused to negotiate," Mr. Trump said, noting that "now Zelensky wants to negotiate," but that Russia's participation in these negotiations "is being questioned."

On September 12, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, announced that the interaction between the Russian and Ukrainian negotiating teams had been suspended, although communication channels had been established. Peskov also stated that Russia was still ready to find a solution to the Ukrainian problem, while Europe, on the contrary, was hindering this process.
