Mr. Vu Tuan Dung was elected to hold the position of Chairman of Yen Thanh District People's Committee, term 2021 - 2026

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Le Dinh Ly - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee; Nguyen Viet Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs; representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors.

The leaders of Yen Thanh district include comrade Le Thi Hoai Chung - Secretary of the District Party Committee, comrades in the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and 37 delegates of the District People's Council for the 2021 - 2026 term.

At the meeting, the Yen Thanh District People's Council conducted legal procedures to dismiss Mr. Phan Van Tuyen from the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term and to remove him from the duties of a District People's Council delegate for the 20th term (to retire according to the regime). Dismissed Mr. Phan Thanh Ha from the position of Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term and to remove him from the duties of a District People's Council delegate for the 20th term to retire according to the regime.

At the meeting, the People's Council of Yen Thanh district approved the Proposal on introducing personnel, voted and elected comrade Vu Tuan Dung - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Thanh district, term 2021 - 2026. The delegates voted, with 100% of the votes, to elect comrade Vu Tuan Dung - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Thanh district, term 2021 - 2026.

At the meeting, the district People's Council delegates approved the District People's Committee's Proposal on the recommendation for the District People's Council delegates to elect the additional position of Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee for Ms. Dang Thi Dung - Member of the District Party Executive Committee, Head of the District Finance Department.

As a result, Ms. Dang Thi Dung was elected with 100% of votes to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

The election of additional positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman of Yen Thanh District People's Committee at this session has important significance in consolidating and perfecting the district leadership apparatus, enhancing comprehensive and unified leadership, direction and administration in organizing the implementation of political, economic, cultural, social, security and defense tasks of Yen Thanh district.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Vu Tuan Dung - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Thanh district thanked the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and delegates of the People's Council of Yen Thanh district for entrusting him with new tasks and responsibilities; affirming that this is an honor but also a great responsibility.
