Car crashed into dump truck's blind spot

The dump truck driver turned on his turn signal and turned right as if he didn't see anything, sending the car flying into the oncoming lane.

The car was crushed in the front because it entered the dump truck's blind spot.

The sedan was on the right lane, the dump truck was looming large on the left. The driver of the smaller car seemed to forget that trucks have huge blind spots, and a position like the one in the video could cause the sedan to completely disappear from the truck driver's field of vision.

The advice to all drivers is to not drive parallel to either side of a truck or bus. From the driver's seat they have large blind spots - it is impossible to see from the cab on either side of the vehicle. If you cannot see the driver's face in their rear view mirror, the truck/bus driver cannot see you. If they have to change lanes for some reason, for example there is an obstacle in the road ahead, you could get into trouble if you drive parallel in the blind spot from the cab of the truck/bus.

When overtaking a truck/bus look out and try to overtake on the left as quickly as possible, where the driver can see your vehicle. Remember never to drive parallel to a truck/bus.

Additionally, trucks/buses have rear blind spots, front blind spots, and turning blind spots (like in the video: the driver won't be able to see you on the right in the rearview mirror).
